Good afternoon! I hope you are well and finding a way to navigate through our ‘new normal.’ My family and I are starting to get comfortable with the new routine of working from home, homeschooling and keeping each other entertained! With that in mind, I thought I would share some of the ideas we have come up with in the hopes that maybe you take away a few new ideas for yourself, as we are all in this together!
A helpful article from the NY Times has all sorts of good ideas in all of the following areas and they are updating it every week:
TV and Movies | Podcasts | Books | Music | Cooking | Games | Kids
These are some of the items I have on my list…
Some Good News (I like starting with this one – great name)
John Krasinski launched a YouTube series that focuses on feel-good stories and has a comedic flair - check it out!
Movies for us parents
Very exciting: Word on the street is that ESPN will be moving up their release of The Last Dance (docuseries of Michael Jordan and the Bulls) to start on April 19
An extensive list of museums, zoos and theme parks offering virtual tours:
Some direct links:
The Louvre, Paris, France

Writing Letters to grandparents, friends, family who are lonely in quarantine
Writing Letters to local nursing homes
Quirky ideas like making your own shaving cream paper: https://meaningfulmama.com/diy-marbled-paper-shaving-cream.html
Cooking – something as easy as sharing with your child different ways to cook an egg can be highly entertaining
Go on a picnic
YouTube’s options are endless
Many gyms are offering ‘free trials’ for their virtual training – for example, the Peloton app is offering 90-day free subscription
OrangeTheory is offering a daily ‘At-Home workout’ on their app

Feel free to share any good ideas with me as well!
Have a healthy and safe weekend,
